As part of the implementation of the RegionalDevelopment Program (PDR), the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region has begun construction and rehabilitation work on several strategic rural roads. This project is part of a comprehensive vision aimed at improving access to rural areas, enhancing population mobility, and stimulating local economic development.
The first interventions target priority routes identified in consultation with local authorities and residents. These roads will facilitate access to schools, health centers, weeklymarkets, and the nearest urban hubs.
The project covers several kilometers of road development, with particular attention to workquality, infrastructure durability, and environmental compliance.
The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region, through the Regional Agency for Project Implementation (AREP-RSK), supervises all stages of the project, from technical studies to execution. A significant budget has been allocated, reflecting the importance given to territorial inclusion and the improvement of living conditions for citizens in rural areas.
This program will help reduce spatial disparities and strengthen territorial cohesion by ensuring better access to basic services while creating economicopportunities for local populations.
