This project is part of a partnership agreement between the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Regional Council and the RegionalAcademy of Education and Training, aimed at creating and rehabilitatingcommunityschools in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region.

A total of 13.6 million dirhams has been allocated for the construction of four communityschools in the Kénitra province. This funding covers the construction of classrooms, cafeterias, libraries, administrative offices, staff housing, sports facilities, as well as the interior arrangements of the school buildings.

Objectives

  • Ensure access to qualityeducation in rural areas.
  • Combat school dropout.
  • Promote the centralization of students in better-equipped educational structures.
  • Reduce the dispersion of small schools in favor of communityschools.

Kénitra Province:

  • Creation of EnnasrCooperativeSchool
  • Creation of Oulad ZiarSchool
  • Creation of Oulad Moussa BahharaSchool
  • Creation of MrijaSchool

These schools have been established in targeted areas in consultation with local authorities and the regional education academy, and include modern teachingspaces, sanitary blocks, and in some cases, teacherhousing.

  • Significant increase in schoolenrollment in rural areas.
  • Improved learning conditions for students.
  • Reduction of the territorial gap in educational infrastructure.
