{"id":5154,"date":"2025-06-16T20:34:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T20:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/areprrsk.ma\/projects\/program-for-the-reduction-of-territorial-and-social-disparities-prdts\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T17:44:54","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T17:44:54","slug":"program-for-the-reduction-of-territorial-and-social-disparities-prdts","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/areprrsk.ma\/en\/projects\/program-for-the-reduction-of-territorial-and-social-disparities-prdts\/","title":{"rendered":"Program for the Reduction of Territorial and Social Disparities (PRDTS)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Road Infrastructure Component (2016-2023)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Program for the Reduction of Territorial and Social <\/strong><strong>Disparities<\/strong><strong> (PRDTS)<\/strong>&nbsp;aims to <strong>open up rural areas, <\/strong><strong>improve<\/strong><strong>access<\/strong><strong> to basic services, and <\/strong><strong>strengthen<\/strong><strong> social <\/strong><strong>cohesion<\/strong> in the most&nbsp;vulnerable&nbsp;territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between 2016 and 2023, a major rural development&nbsp;project&nbsp;was&nbsp;launched in the <strong>Rabat-Sal\u00e9-K\u00e9nitra <\/strong><strong>region<\/strong>, resulting in the construction of <strong>1,448.95 <\/strong><strong>kilometers<\/strong><strong> of <\/strong><strong>roads<\/strong>, including&nbsp;both&nbsp;classified and unclassified routes, designed to connect rural centers to <strong>urban<\/strong><strong> hubs, <\/strong><strong>health<\/strong><strong>facilities<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>schools<\/strong><strong>, and <\/strong><strong>weekly<\/strong><strong>markets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduce\u00a0<strong>territorial <\/strong><strong>inequalities<\/strong> in terms of mobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate\u00a0<strong>rural populations\u2019 <\/strong><strong>access<\/strong><strong> to basic social services<\/strong> (health, education, commerce).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stimulate\u00a0<strong>economic<\/strong><strong>activity<\/strong><strong> and <\/strong><strong>regional<\/strong><strong>integration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve the <strong>living conditions of <\/strong><strong>residents<\/strong><strong> in <\/strong><strong>remote<\/strong><strong> areas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Budget<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program mobilized a total budget of <strong>1,603.65 <\/strong><strong>million<\/strong><strong> dirhams<\/strong> (over 1.6 billion dirhams) for the construction of these infrastructures, covering the various provinces of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expected<\/strong><strong> Impacts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Opening up of <strong>dozens<\/strong><strong> of <\/strong><strong>rural communes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduction of <strong>travel<\/strong><strong> time<\/strong> and improvement of <strong>road <\/strong><strong>safety<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthening the <strong>attractiveness of rural areas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Better\u00a0<strong>territorial and social inclusion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Road Infrastructure Component (2016-2023) The Program for the Reduction of Territorial and Social Disparities (PRDTS)&nbsp;aims to open up rural areas, &#8230;
